Today marks a special occasion – it’s the puppies’ first Christmas! At just 5 days old, these adorable bundles of joy have become more mobile, expertly navigating their way to the warmth and comfort of their ever-doting mother.
Despite being tiny and new to the world, these little ones have already discovered their voices, treating us to an orchestra of squeaks, grunts, and even tiny growls. With closed eyes and ears, their days are filled with the simple pleasures of nursing and blissful slumber.
Brandy continues to be a gentle and attentive mother, occasionally taking short breaks from her maternal duties to check in on us and tag along for barn chores. Her caring nature extend beyond her role as a mother – she ensures the cows are where they belong and even manages to sneak in some affectionate snuggles.
Our children are smitten, and the pups are getting plenty of attention between meals and naps. Despite their peaceful appearance, these wiggly puppies love to spin around and crawl, adding an extra layer of charm to these heartwarming moments. It is hard to believe these tiny pups will be running all over the place soon!
We plan to reach out to the vet tomorrow to schedule a wellness exam and the puppies’ first round of shots. Though it’s still seven weeks away, we know time will fly, and we want to ensure our pups are on the vet’s radar.
