Puppies – Day 4

November 30, 2022 By Leah Leave a Comment

The puppies are still so new and tiny, but have mighty voices! It is fun to listen to the little squeaks, grunts, and even growls they try out. Their eyes and ears are still closed, and they spend all their time nursing or sleeping. Brandy is such a gentle and attentive mother, but did take a few short breaks to check on us during chores yesterday and today. She is such a beautiful dog and still likes to make sure the cows are where they belong and slip in some snuggles.

We called the vet today to make sure they could get all 9 puppies in for a wellness exam and their first puppy shots. That is still 7 weeks away, but I know it will come fast and wanted to get us on their schedule.

Photos from today (puppies are wiggly, for such peaceful pictures you wouldn't guess it but they like to spin around and crawl):
