The farm collie pups are now 6 weeks old and becoming quite independent. They are much more confident moving around our home, outside, and now the barn too. It has been chilly here the last few days, but the puppies now have thick, fluffy coats and eagerly follow us to the barn to explore. They are curious about the barn cats, who fortunately are tame and patiently sat for the puppies to all sniff and tumble around on them. They also got to meet a few of our goats and smell/hear the ponies, ducks, sheep, cows and alpacas that live in and around the barn. So many new experiences and happy wagging tails!
We have been brining the puppies into our kitchen and living room a few at a time as well to play. They love toys, and several of them are starting to play fetch or "sniff out the puppy kibble" which our kids are really enjoying. Below are a few photos and videos - the pups are hard to photograph, everytime I try they all charge and pounce me 🙂
