Storybook Farm MN is your source for high quality proteins for the family freezer. We provide grass-fed and grass-finished beef and lamb that is delicious, more sustainable on the environment, and support animal wellbeing. Our animals are moved to fresh pasture daily and fed stored forage (hay and alfalfa blends) during the winter months. We raise our cattle/sheep with regenerative farming practices, and eat our products with peace of mind.
We are currently building up our breeding stock and have no planned beef/lamb sales for 2021. Please reach out to us to be placed on a waiting list for 2022. British White Beef
Tender, High Grading and High Dressing Percentage. British White Beef is exceptional. The meat is very tender and tasty. A thin rind of back fat with a light flecking of marbling sets off the obvious quality of a good steak or roast.
American Blackbelly Lamb
Unlike meat from most wool breeds of lamb, Blackbelly meat is very mild flavored and lean, like venison, even in a two year old. It is low in fat and cholesterol but high in protein. It is a favorite among ethnic groups, who prefer it over beef.
